University of Ibadan, Four Others Qualify for Final of 2012 Students in Free Enterprise Competition

The semi-final of the 2012 Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE) Nigeria National Competition came to an end on Thursday, with five institutions advancing to the final stage of the competition.

Daily Times Nigeria gathered that the judges considering the relevant economic, social and environmental factors, and which SIFE team most effectively empowered people in need by applying business, before they picked the best teams.

The qualified teams are: University of Ibadan SIFE team, Benue State University SIFE team, Bayero University, Kano SIFE team, Federal University of Technology Owerri and Federal Polytechnic Idah teams.

The final leg of the national competition will come up on July 24 at the Eko Hotel and Suites, Lagos, and the best team will represent the country in Washington D.C. USA, from September 30 to October 2, 2012.
