JAMB to Release Cutoff Marks for 2012/2013 Admissions in Universities by May 21
The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) will release the cut-off marks for admission into universities on May 21, Prof. Dibu Ojerinde, the Registrar, has said.
Ojerinde announced this on Thursday in Abuja when he received a four-man delegation from the Nigerian Turkish Nile University, led by its Vice Chancellor, Bunyamin Kaptanoglu, who paid him a courtesy visit.
He said that a harmonised cut-off point would kick start admission process for 2012/2013.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) recalls that JAMB, had on March 24, conducted the third edition of the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
A total of 1.5 million candidates applied and sat for the examination in Nigeria and six other countries.

futa should reduce thier cut off mark to 180 and they should reduce the post utme mark for elect elect to 60. so that we can gain admission. (both first nd second choice)

Please, something should be done about the utme cutt-off mark for this year admission, at least it should be reduced to 160 or 170..bcos there’s a mass failure this year due to early Schedule of the examination which caused less preparation for it. And If there’s anybody it affected, please keep on praying before the realease of the cutt-off by MAY 21…GOD bless…
The problem of this year i cant even understand after reading the portals wheel and the surcessor non of them came out is not good but i thank God i made it but jamb should consider the people that fai and put less cut of mark so every thing will be at equlibrum.

All prays be to almighty God who save our life to this moment, we wrote jamb last 2 years, last year and also this year is the same but i am always believe that good time is the best. I want jamb should reduce there cut off mark to 170 for all universities both federal and state because of the masses therefore, all universities should cancle there post jamb exams because most of people who makes there jamb cut off marks are fail up in post ume which is another wasting of resources. Pls jamb committee, help masses may God Help u too. Amen
