President Goodluck Jonathan and two of his opponents for the presidential ticket of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar and Sarah Jibril, have arrived the party headquarters in Abuja to be screened ahead of the national convention for electing the presidential candidate for the party.
Mr Jonathan was accompanied by Vice President Namadi Sambo and some governors and ministers. He was received by members of the party’s National Working Committee.
Mr Abubakar had arrived earlier at the Legacy House, the initial venue announced for the screening, but was asked to return later because the exercise is going to hold at the party’s headquarters. Legacy House was formerly the campaign office of former President, Olusegun Obasanjo, but it is now used by the PDP as an alternate office.
Mrs Jibril also arrived the party headquarters with a retinue of aides.
